The Sim

USS Ark Royal NCC-1791 is a Constitution class starship refit to the Enterprise subclass standard. She is serving in Starfleet's Theta Fleet.

She is a heavy cruiser whose mission is to prevent the Klingon Empire from exercising its influence in Sector 262.



The USS Ark Royal's Mission Patch is based on the logo of the HMS Ark Royal R07, the Invincible-class Light Aircraft Carrier which served the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from 1985 until 2011.

Sector 262 encompasses the rimward edge of the Federation/Klingon Neutral Zone, which ends at the territories of two unaligned powers, the Drenkul Republic and the Democratic Republic of Pydria. Beyond their borders lies unclaimed space.
