2290-08641: ANALYSIS OF KLINGON SHIP MOVEMENTS SD8950-8955

Listening posts registers minimum ten (10) Klingon Defense Force starships operating in unclaimed space within Sector 262: one (1) Riskadh class Heavy Battlecruiser; four (4) K't'Inga class Battlecruisers; one (1) QuD class Destroyer; three (3) B'rel class Light Destroyers; and one (1) PIH class Frigate. This number is elevated from previous reporting periods.

Intercepted communications traffic is consistent with Imperial Navy vessels communicating with a command and control base. Signals decryption underway but incomplete.

REMINDER: Cloaking technology prevents positive identification of the exact number of starships present. Figures given are minimums.

2290-08541: SIGNAL INTERCEPTION SD8931.2

On Stardate 8931.2, at 0953 standard time, Starfleet Station Delta IV detected a spike of hyperphasic radiation originating from the Klingon Empire, specifically a point approximately 3.2 light-years coreward from the Kraz System in Sector 262.



Analysis of this data is incomplete. Hyperphasic radiation is not known to originate from any natural phenomena and has only been detected in minute quantities from subspace research institutes.
