Together at last

Castiel walked through the airlock, Annika had stated she would be awaiting him onboard the Ark Royal. Why she was there... she wouldn't say. She did arrive a day earlier, so he figured she was keeping his bed warm. However, something told him it was something different.

In their quarters Annika was waiting excitedly for Castiel to arrive, they’d been apart far too long but she hadn’t yet told him she was assigned to the ship as well. He was due onboard anytime and she could barely wait for him to step through the doors.

Walking up to his quarters, much larger than the ones that he had on his last posting, he tapped a few buttons on the side of the door, opening the doors to his home. Walking over, he placed his bag on the floor beside the door, and his off duty coat on a hook located on the wall.

Hearing movement outside the bedroom door Annika was quick to head for it, the door swishing open to reveal her standing there in a nightdress that she knew would make Castiel’s pulse race. “Hello handsome” her smile said it all as she didn’t wait a moment longer to rush over and kiss him.

Once the kiss broke, "I like your idea." He replied as he lifted her up. "The bedroom is exactly where I want you right now."

“Then let’s not waste any more time” Annika smiled as she gently held on around Castiel’s neck as he carried her to the bedroom.

Laying her on his bed, "How long do we have?" He asked as he kissed her neck.

“As long as you want, I haven’t officially started as ship’s Counsellor yet so I’ve got the time to dedicate exclusively to you.” She encouraged him onward she wasn’t about to stop now.

"Clearly not really interesred in work and only paying attention to the words, as long as you want, he reached under her night gown sliding his hands up Tracing her scars. Them sliding it off of her. "Lets make sure we see to your needs shall we."

“Ohhh definitely!” Annika nodded sounding somewhat breathless at the touch of Castiel’s fingers on her skin. It’d felt like forever since they’d made love last.

Taking his time, he explored the rest of her body as if it was his first time, it was actually in a while. But still.

Annika encouraged her husband onward slowly helping him out of his clothing at the same time. She planned to make sure Cas had as much enjoyment as he was giving her.

As he slipped the last bit of clothing off. "Full view, just how nature intended." He smiled as he brought her on top of him. "I think this physical will last all night."

Annika grinned a wry grin. “Ohh I’m sure it will” she leant down giving him the most passionate, long lasting kiss she could without coming up for air.

"Lets get started shall we..." He smiled as he laid her on her back. As he made his way down.

The next morning Cas got up, kissed her on her shoulder as she slept, and snuck off to the shower. Looking at the time, they did indeed have a good run at making up for lost time. However, knowing she would soon be off to another ship he couldn't resist.

"Computer, what ship is Lt Annika Johnson assigned to." He asked quietly.

Without hesitation, "Lt Annika Johnson is assigned to the USS Ark Royal. As counsellor under Chief medical officer Lt Castiel Johnson."

Pausing, he looked out the door, smiled and then continued the shower.

Waking up Annika stretched, smiling as she sensed Cas was still nearby. Sliding out of bed she made her way to the bathroom, slowly entering she slipped into the shower to join him. “Good Morning handsome” she smiled as she draped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

"So... when were you going to tell me." He replied with a smile as he kissed her back.

“This morning, but it seems you’ve beaten me to the surprise.” Annika grinned. “Starfleet finally came through with assigning me where I could be with you.”

"I was wondering where I was losing you to. I apologize..."

“Stop…” Annika put her finger gently on Cas’ lips. “You have nothing to apologise for, we’re together now and that’s what matters.”

"It is." He replied as he kissed her again.

Annika returned the kiss before giving Cas a mischievous smile. "Do we have enough time for some fun in the shower?"

"And in the kitchen, and living room, and my office."

"Ohh so you've been giving this some thought already huh?" Annika grinned. "In that case..." she slowly backed up against the shower wall pulling Cas along with her. "I'm ready when you are!"
